Windows a Mess?  Clean 'Em!

Cleaning windows inside and out is essential for maintaining a clear view and a sparkling home. To begin with the inside, start by dusting the windowsills and frames using a microfiber cloth to remove dirt and debris. Use a window cleaning solution or a mixture of water and vinegar to spray the glass. Wipe it down with a squeegee or a lint-free cloth in a vertical motion, ensuring no streaks are left behind. Don’t forget to clean the corners, which often accumulate grime. For stubborn spots, a gentle scrub with a soft sponge may be necessary.

When cleaning the outside, pay extra attention to the window screens. First, remove the screens and brush away loose dirt or debris using a soft brush. Wash them with mild soap and water, and use a soft brush to gently scrub both sides. Rinse thoroughly with a hose and let them air dry completely before reinstalling. Clean the outer glass using the same window cleaning solution, but consider using a hose to rinse off any large dirt particles first. Finally, wipe the windows with a squeegee or cloth, ensuring all streaks and water spots are removed. Regular maintenance of both glass and screens will keep your windows clear and free of dirt for a long time.
